Doja Cat changed out of a towel and into a dripping wet t-shirt for the 2024 Met Gala

Doja Cat has taken us on a true sartorial journey at the 2024 Met Gala this evening. First, she showed up at her hotel ahead of the biggest night in fashion wearing what can only be described as a plastic bag, paired with some nude shapewear and nipple pasties. Her bold attire truly set the tone for the rest of her looks, specifically how she'd be interpreting this year's theme “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” with the dress code “The Garden of Time.”

Namely, like she'd just got out of the shower. Yep, Doja left her hotel on the way to the Met Gala wearing nothing but a towel and some diamonds (because obviously). She paired the look with drippy straight-out-of-the-shower inspired eye makeup and perspex heels:

But while this ^ is the outfit Doja arrived to the Met Gala in, she once again changed before hitting the red carpet – this time wearing a supersized white T-shirt that looked like it was soaking wet:

She went braless underneath the oversized design, with the dripping fabric clinging to her body.

As a reminder, Doja cat dressed up as a literal cat during last year’s Met Gala, so our expectations were obviously higher than high. Happy to say she exceeded them and then some! And obviously, it goes without saying that we all need to stay tuned for what she changes into for the Met Gala after-party. I’m going to assume/hope for some variation of pyjamas?
